Key Concepts in RCT
 Mutual Empathy
 A two-way (or more) dynamic process that functions as a central component of psychological growth.

Mutual Empowerment
 A two-way (or more) dynamic process that functions as a central component of psychological growth, which grows out of mutual empathy in a relationship (Jordan, 1986)

Authenticity
 “Authenticity is ever-evolving, not achieved at any one moment—
it is a person’s ongoing ability to represent herself in relationships more fully” (Miller, 1999); with awareness of the possible impact on the other person (Jordan, 2003).
 “…authenticity is a process in movement—we move in and out of more or less authenticity as a consequence of the relational dynamics” (Miller, 1999).


Movement Toward Mutuality
 A dynamic process in which the individuals
engaged in a relationship are increasingly able to be authentic and authentically

 A relationship with one supportive adult is associated with good outcomes when children are faced with:

It is hard to see sexism in a society that I am a member of as a privileged white male. In a society that speaks of equality, but in a covert way does not respect equality, it is difficult to personally identify sexism first hand in my privileged state. Consequently, in order to firstly identify and understand sexism, I must look at the micro level of self, family, and friends. This would include taking courses and reading books on sexism. But this is not enough. Sexism must be replaced with another ideology. Consequently, the studying of the feminist movement is imperative, as it is women, who have been the focus of sexism.

In these courses I would hope to gain insight and some understanding of the experiences from women’s point of view. This would also include viewing documentaries on the subject of sexism. Even being receptive to listening others speak of their encounters with sexism would be very helpful in the self-actualization of the reality of sexism. It is very important that in my communication with people, of the micro level membership, that various groups are not objectified. This includes, but is not limited to, correcting, rebuking, and educating those around me. It means that when sexist jokes or slurs are made that, I would have to rebuke such behavior. This, then, would logically evolve into being a role model in my own communication with others. Being sensitive to the concerns of the females in my family and validating their experiences and feelings is also critical in understanding and extincting sexism within my micro level system. I believe that in order to address sexism at the micro level, open communication and awareness to discuss this matter are critical. And so the movement of to address sexism can be described as a kind of meteorite which is in opposition, not only to the concrete habits of life, but also to the way of thinking underlying them.

Broad circles in the feminist and equal rights coalition community seem to have forgotten that the subject who pursues to advance the understanding and acceptance of feminism and equal rights is not an individual, lone person, and advocate, but a member of a greater community. From this forgetfulness of what is truly means to be a feminist derives a feminist pluralism that in reality is often a subjectivism and individualism that has little to do with bases of what it means to be a feminist. This has resulted in a "crisis" within the feminist and equal rights culture. It appears to me that every feminist activist now seems to want to be "creative". But in fact the activist; their task is to deepen the common understanding and awareness of feminism and equal rights as well as help in understanding it and proclaiming it, not to "create it". Otherwise the feminist and equal rights culture and understanding of it will be fragmentized into a series of often conflicting schools and currents to the grave harm of those genuinely trying to attain acceptance and understanding. In viewing and learning of the feminist movement and demonstrations, many, including myself have come to the realization that these efforts have often contributed more to the aggravation than to the resolution of the crisis. It would be unjust to generalize this affirmation, but it would also be wrong purely and simply to deny it. Consequently, it is imperative to propagate feminism as a direct response to sexism in the mezzo, exo, and macro levels of our systems.

In order to address sexism at the mezzo level, there are many things that can be done to deepen the common understanding and awareness of sexism and the counter ideologies that feminism proclaims. At the university, this would include much of the same as the microsystem in the interactions and transactions that occur between individuals. Group projects could be held within a group to identify sexism and presented in class. In addition, when Career Fair occurs in schools, it would be prudent to have a male and female professionals discuss their careers with young people. Profession representation should be of both sexes.

Perhaps the most radical way to combat sexism is for feminism and equal rights to champion in the exosystem level. Although there are laws in place to prevent sexism, it continues to prevail. At the level of the university, it is imperative to hire feminists to present their work and courses to students, who are the leaders of tomorrow in the knowledge and experience they gain today. Mandatory feminism courses to complete degree programs would be one way to raise awareness. In addition, inviting Feminists and experts such as Dr. Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza to speak to the academic community would bring about awareness. Awareness is good in its respective manner, however, it is not enough. Accountability for those that promote sexism must be judicially and lawfully enforced. This however, is no easy task, as sexism must be proved. And although as obvious as it may at times appear, sexism is difficult to prove especially when it is covertly executed. Consequently, going back to my previous point, I believe that feminism must be addressed in an environment of academic freedom and in all fields of study. It I also imperative for feminist to work together in collegiality to define an objective, clear, and common understanding of feminism and equal rights when. With a united front, feminism and equal rights will prevail. An unclear, subjective, and individualistc approach will not suffice. Consequently, lobbying of government, constant alertness, and persistence is required to identify and combat sexism.

At the macro level, we must be very careful when it comes to addressing sexism. It is precisely woman who most harshly suffers the consequence of the confusion of the superficiality of a culture that is the fruit of masculine ideologies, which covertly deceive woman, while overtly claiming that in reality they want to liberate her. This is unacceptable. New ideologies must be revived. Such ideologies must be dichotic and clear as a combination of masculine and feminine attributes, and as such even use of such terminology should be indistinguishable. Such a movement and birth of such a culture begins in child development at the micro level, and with permeability over the mezzo and exo level.
